How You Compete as a Delegate in the Women In Business Online Pageant:
Get excited, WBLEP presents Women In Business Online Pageant 2023. All competing delegates must be a female entrepreneur/business owner. Because WIBOP is an online pageant the competing Delegate must have access to the internet and a ZOOM login. Every delegate will be expected to use the WIBOP virtual background (it will be shared 72 hours prior to pageant day). All Delegates are required to have on a pink blouse the day of the pageant (any shade from light pink to vibrant fuchsia) as long as the blouse/top is in the pink family worn in honor Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Registration fee of $350 must be paid in full prior to competing. All categorical deadlines must be met in order to compete on pageant day. Every entrant competes in her legally registered business name.

Competition Categories and Assessments:
25 - Business Video: A 2 to 3 minimum video explaining the Who, What, When, Where, Why and How of your business. The video should not be shorter than 2 minutes and not longer than 3 minutes. Video will be uploaded to a private YouTube Account…
20 - Panel Interview: A live Zoom interview with a panel of 5 judges. The interview will consist of questions concerning your business and community involvement. The interview will be approximately 7 minutes per Delegate.
20 - Business Essay: A 200 to 300 word essay answering a question submitted to Delegates by WBLEP. All Delegates will receive the exact same question. Essay should be Double Spaced, 12 pt Arial Font. Emailed to [email protected]
15 - Professional Head shot: 1 professional head shot submitted at 300 DPI. Must have photographers photo release form to accompany the photo. No photo tag, log or watermark on photo. Emailed to [email protected]
10 - Full Body Photo: Full body photo must be submitted with you wearing an evening gown or dressy pant wear. This outfit will be an Glamour After-5 ensemble. It needs to be clear, free of debris and an individual photo. No one else should be featured in photo. This does not have to be a professional photo, however, it should not be blurry, over exposed, or filtered. This should be a head to toe shot!
10 - Delegates Introduction: All Delegates will be responsible for a Live introduction via Zoom on pageant day. The Introduction should include the following information:

Business Name or Industry
Nature of Business
Number of Years in Business
Your Platform or Cause You Champion
Your introduction should be clear and concise. It should not be longer than 30 seconds.

10 - FULL BODY SHOT (Evening Wear)

The contestant in each division with the highest score wins the Division. Only one title awarded per division.

WIBOP is divided into four competing Divisions:
Miss Division
Age 19-29 and Single
Ms. Division
Age 30+ Single, separated, divorced or widowed
Mrs. Division
Age 20+ Married
International Division
Age 19+ Open to female business leaders and entrepreneurs living outside of the Continental USA
PLEASE NOTE: A minimum of 3 (three) Contestants are required to run each Division. Each Division will have a Winner, a 1st Runner-Up and a 2nd Runner-up.
WIBOP 2022 Optional Categories:
COVER GIRL $60
Submit a clear head shot (preferably professional). This is more of a glamour shot oppose to a professional head shot. The contest will be judged on Pageant Planet ONLY! There will be a cost associated with the vote. The Delegate with the most votes Wins the Cover Girl Competition…. 20 Minimum Votes required to Win! The winner will be posted WBLEP website, the profile photo on WIBOP FB, IG, TW & LK social media pages for 3 months. She will also receive a Facebook Cover Banner.
PHOTOGENIC $40
The Photogenic Contest will be judged by a different set of judges using your Professional Head shot submitted. The winner will receive a POP Banner for business.
COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT $40
Community involvement with WBLEP/WIBOP is paramount. We encourage all delegates to be actively involved in their respective communities with two appearances a month. The current Pandemic has limited community involvement tremendously, however, WBLEP/WIBOP encourages you to get involved in social media events and activities. Interviews, panel discussions, lives about your business and/or Platform, interviews with customers, clients or Platform participants, run promotions, ask questions and daily social media activities are just a few ways to stay active and involved in your business and community. Pictures, videos and fliers will be emailed to WIBOP for judging consideration. GET INVOLVED, STAY INVOLVED! The winning Delegate will receive a $50 MAC Giftcard, being face forward is important in the pageant business.
SOCIAL MEDIA QUEEN $40 The Social Media Queen is very involved in her business all while promoting her title and the pageant. You will find her sharing and tagging others, running promotions and engaging the public. She will connect, comment and consider other delegates in her postings. She is Winning in Business and not afraid to let the world know it! She is inspirational, empathetic, encouraging and engaging. Winner will receive an Interview with WBLEP, Custom Cover Banner and Custom Business Flier.
